Ian Wright has admitted Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones was not too happy with him after Jadon Sancho had scored Manchester United's opening goal on Monday night. The Reds lost 2-1 at Old Trafford and Wright was sat with the injured Reds player in the stands.
Sancho put United in the lead early in the first half and the former Arsenal striker didn't impress Liverpool's Jones by applauding the strike.
Jurgen Klopp 's side are still winless in their three Premier League games this season and sit in 16th place with just two points picked up in draws with Fulham and Crystal Palace. Up next is a home clash against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

Mohamed Salah pulled a goal back for Liverpool late in the second half after Marcus Rashford had extended United's lead at Old Trafford. United had lost their previous two matches and recorded their first win of the season when they took the points off the Reds.
Wright told his Wrighty's House podcast : "“When Jadon Sancho scored, you get up and clap. And I don’t want them to think, ‘oh why are not clapping? Who are you supporting? Liverpool?’.
“Curtis Jones was watching it with us. So when I got up and I was clapping Jadon, I said I’m so pleased for Jadon, he went like that to me, like ‘sit down’ with his face.”
Jones is yet to make an appearance for Liverpool this season after picking up a calf injury in pre-season, but is said to be nearing a return to training to bolster Klopp's options in midfield.
