Bowing out before Genesis made their way into the limelight, Anthony Phillips’ position and contribution to the band is often misunderstood. In 2014 – tying in with the launch of a solo box set – Phillips told Prog his version of events from the late 60s and very early 70s, and speculated on what might have happened if he’d never left.
