If you've ever worked in retail, you'll understand that there are a few requests that customers make that make you cringe inside - but of course, you'll keep a smile plastered on your face and you'll do the best you can.
One McDonald's worker has shared the reason that she hates serving people Happy Meals at the drive-thru - and it all boils down to giving the whole order at once, which most people don't do.
Carina Angelica, who posts on TikTok as @carina.angelica_, roleplayed a common customer interaction, writing in the caption that she "hates Happy Meals", followed by a crying emoji.
The 'mum' came to the drive-thru to buy three Happy Meals - one with a cheeseburger, another with nuggets, and a third with a hamburger.
Carina explained asking for the above wasn't enough information to get your order put into the till, however, and she needed to go back through the order and check the exact types of Happy Meals the kids wanted, rather than just the main part of it.
First, she needed to clarify whether she wanted four or six nugs with the meal. She then needed to go through every order, and check whether the child wanted fries or apple slices - which is time-consuming if the information isn't already given.
Carina also needed to check which drinks were required as part of the meals. Over the top of the video she wrote: "I can't send your order until everything is checked off."
At the end of the video, Carina looks exasperated and stressed at the fact she had to go through everything multiple times.
In the comments, fellow Maccies workers sympathised, with one writing: "At that point I don't even ask fries or apples, just put fries."
"WHEN THEY START ORDERING ANOTHER ITEM WITHOUT FINISHING THE FIRST!!", another raged.
"I thought it was just me that hates the kid's meal", someone else agreed.
