Jose Mourinho has revealed that he has no plans to leave A.S. Roma amid continued speculation linking him with a move to Everton.
Everton are on the hunt for a new boss following Sunday’s sacking of Rafa Benitez, who became the fifth man to be dismissed by Farhad Moshiri.
The club’s hierarchy were initially exploring the possibility of bringing Roberto Martinez back to Goodison Park to replace the Spaniard.
However, a move for Martinez stalled earlier this week as the Belgium FA said they would resist letting the Catalan leave or do both jobs at the same time.

As well as Martinez, the ECHO understands that Duncan Ferguson, Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard are all under consideration to take the job permanently.
But Mourinho has also been linked with the vacancy since Benitez’s sacking as he continues to endure mixed results in the Italian capital.
But speaking after his side’s 3-1 victory over Lecce at the Stadio Olimpico in the Coppa Italia on Thursday night, Mourinho revealed he has no plans to leave the club anytime soon.
He said: “In terms of emotion, passion, empathy, of being happy working with Roma, I say I am 11 out of 10.
“I am truly, very, very happy to be at a club where I feel the people trust me. I couldn’t be happier than this.
“In football terms, playing to finish between fourth and eighth place is obviously not what I want, but this is a moment of a different project for me and we will be better off next season.
“I won’t deny in the first half I did feel frustrated, as our performance was horrible. Having said that, I am happy right now and would not change this Roma project for any other.
“I gave my word for these three years and I will not leave before the three years are up. This is my project too.”
