Despite becoming a mainstream star beyond Ireland since joining the professional ranks and becoming the face there in much the same way as she did as an amateur, Katie Taylor's net worth pales in comparison to Conor McGregor's.
Whatever you think about the merits of that, it isn't something that bugs the woman herself.
This was evident in her chat with Steve Bunce on BBC Five Live Boxing as part of the hectic final few days of promotion before she finally gets to do the part that comes most naturally to her in the ring.

Fans haven't seen much of the Bray native since her epic victory over Amanda Serrano in a sold-out Madison Square Garden back in April.
This is because unlike McGregor, she shares very little from her day-to-day life with followers on social media as she doesn't embrace the spotlight as much as her brash compatriot.
When asked how she had been spending her time since what was a career highlight, she assured followers they hadn't been missing out on much.
She said: "I actually live a very, very simple life, to be honest.
"I don't really do too much in between fights. I have my home in Connecticut where I train alongside my coach Ross (Enamait).
'I have all the guys in the gym there as well. I was pretty much back in the gym within a few days of the (Serrano) fight.
"I had my family over with me for a couple of weeks during that month as well; celebrating the win and soaking up time with them.
'For another few weeks I'm back home in Ireland just enjoying time with them back home as well.
"Between Ireland and Connecticut, I was back and forth between the two places, staying in the gym, keeping fit, and that was pretty much it."
At this juncture, the veteran boxing pundit exclaimed that it wasn't exactly 'hiring yachts and cruising' around the globe like The Notorious.
To which she replied with a laugh: "I wish I had that much money to do that sort of thing but I don't unfortunately!"
She did of course bank a seven figure sum from her long-awaited super-fight earlier this year so after a lifetime of relentless hard work she has secured a very comfortable life for the rest of her days, albeit we might not be seeing her buying any Lamborghini yachts anytime soon.
However, the 36-year-old did reveal last year that she had bought a speedboat in a rare moment of treating herself.
She explained at the time: "I was out kayaking one day, and I saw a little speedboat going out on the lake. I just got a bit of an urge to test one out. It just looked like great fun. That's pretty much how I got a passion for speedboats.
"It was a bit of an impulse buy but it's been just a great buzz. It's a great way to spend a bit of time off, being on the water.
"There's just something about the water. It's so peaceful out there, I could spend all day on the water, really. Just by the sea, by the lake. I just love times like that."
