Jordan Henderson believes he and Jude Bellingham are 'cut from the same cloth' - and the current Liverpool captain insisted he will try his best to impart experience on the young star.
The pair are currently in Qatar representing England in the World Cup, with both having started Tuesday's all-important 3-0 win against Wales to set up a round-of-16 tie with Senegal this weekend. Reds fans have loved seeing Bellingham - a long-time target of the club - surrounded by the likes of Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold during England's training sessions.
Such is the closeness between Bellingham and the Liverpool pair, that Alexander-Arnold has had to deny fan theories that the right-back is acting agent in a bid to lure the in-demand teenager to Anfield come summer. And speaking in today's England diary Room, Henderson has now spoken highly of his midfield partner's mentality, adding that he will 'try his best' to impart his own experience on the Borussia Dortmund star.
