'I will never forget it': star laments Sydney FC split

Sydney FC have terminated the contract of their Brazilian star Douglas Costa by mutual consent, after the winger admitted he still hadn't resolved the personal issues that would enable him to return to Australian soccer.

Costa said on-going legal and personal matters in his home country meant he couldn't leave and return to complete his two-year deal.
