'I will never, ever forget that experience' North East Charity founder attends the Queen's funeral

The founder of a North East charity said she feels "privileged" to have attended the Queen's funeral service at Westminster Abbey in London.

Lynn McManus, who runs Pathways 4 All, was invited to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II after being awarded an MBE. The 61-year-old was recognised for her services to children with disabilities during the monarch's birthday honours in June.

During the service, the mum-of-ten sat, with others who had been given honours, near the entrance to the church. She was within touching distance of the Queen's coffin and the Royal Family when they arrived and left Westminster Abbey.
