A woman who went on a two-week holiday with her pal ended up in hospital with a broken nose and requiring stitches. Melissa Hunter was enjoying a break in Turkey and decided to go on a waltzer-style ride with her friend.
But Melissa's impromptu, and innocently-made, decision ended with her lying on the ground in a pool of her own blood. She claims she was flung off the ride after it was going really fast, and wants to share her story as a warning to others on amusement parks.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, she said: "The only way I can describe is the seats are like the Waltzers which has a seat and a bar which goes down, they were like in a row behind each other in the circle. So the ride goes round and round and then tips on a slant, so you're kind of sideways.
