When designing my own kitchen, I really wanted to create a balance between beautiful design moments and practicality; after all, a good kitchen should look good and perform even better.
So, rather than incorporating loads of open shelving or forgoing upper kitchen cabinets entirely, I opted for some glass-fronted units that deliver both style and storage. But in reality, they've become a bit of a headache. Unless every mug, plate, and pantry item was perfectly arranged, the cabinets looked messy and cluttered.
