A cash-in-transit deliveryman has described the moment he was 'taken hostage' at work. The worker was trapped alone in a shop in Newton Heath with robber Ashley Hodson, 38, who threatened to shoot him.
Now, in an interview to highlight the work police are doing to stop cash-in-transit robberies, the guard, whose anonymity has been protected, has spoken of his terrifying ordeal.
