NEW DELHI: AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha, who was suspended on Friday from the House for including the names of some MPs for inclusion in a House panel without their consent for the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2023, has defended himself and said the action has been taken against him for “exposing BJP’s double standards on Delhi’s statehood and for asking tough questions.
Shortly after he was suspended from the Rajya Sabha on the last day of the monsoon session of Parliament, Chadha released a video clip to clarify his position on the action taken against him.
