I was raped while an MP - and had to wait 1,088 days to get to court

A Labour MP has spoken publicly for the first time about being raped, describing the “agony” of waiting 1,088 days for her case to reach court.

In an impassioned speech in the House of Commons, MP Charlotte Nichols, reiterated her support for victims of sexual assault while sharing her own experience of the criminal justice system.
