JAIPUR: Minister of state for home guards and soldiers' welfare Rajendra Gudha on Tuesday claimed that he was offered Rs 25 crore to vote for a particular candidate in the recent Rajya Sabha elections.
Gudha, who switched from BSP to Congress in 2019, claimed that he was similarly offered Rs 60 crore during the rebellion against CM Ashok Gehlot in 2020. The minister said he spurned both offers but did not mention any person or party while making these allegations. Gudha is said to be unhappy with the Congress after he was given just a junior minister's rank with unimportant portfolios.
