Calling all dog owners that like to spoil their pets, I may have found the perfect place in Liverpool just for you.
The ‘Original Dog Bakery’ is a team of expert dog bakers that specialise in baking tasty treats for pets. They’ve been placed right under our noses in Liverpool ONE for years and I personally can’t believe I’ve only just discovered them.
Using ingredients that dogs need for a healthy mixed diet, the baked products are packed with all things natural. After starting the bakery in Liverpool, they’ve since developed a big social following on Instagram and you can even buy products online on their website.

Located at a tiny little sheltered stand, it’s easy to walk past this place and miss it. Once you’ve visited the bakery once, you’ll always be tempted to pop in - trust me.
Once inside, I was amazed by the sheer amount of dog goodies available. From brightly coloured doughnuts, to cookies, to brownies, the dog treats looked like a work of art.
It was clear to see the amount of time and effort that goes into each individual bake, with intricate designs on dinky little doughnuts and pops of colour in every direction. There was so much to choose from, even for the fussiest of dogs.
I was totally spoilt for choice, and it actually took me a good while to pick what to get for my dog Penny. In the end, I went for a peanut butter doughnut, a strawberry doughnut and a carob and peanut butter cookie.
I chose the three for £10 deal which was pretty good value considering you can freeze the treats if you don’t want to use them straight away. They were amazingly fresh and smelt so good - even for a human!
Let's just say there were no issues with my dog who managed to scoff down a cookie in about three seconds. I think she must've liked them.
If you want to spoil your pet with a sweet yet healthy treat, I’d highly recommend this hidden gem. My dog Penny especially loved it.
