Audible is currently free – these are the best audiobooks I’ve listened to

Tara Westover David Sedaris Curtis Sittenfeld Miriam Margolyes Barbara Kingsolver Charles Dickens Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie Elizabeth Bennett Jane Austen Julia Whelan
From memoirs and historical fiction to romances and comedies, these are the Audible audiobooks to enjoy as Amazon launches three free months for Prime Day - (Amazon/The Independent)

Amazon has dropped one final perk for Prime members before Prime Day 2026 comes to a close: three months of Audible for free, alongside a £10 Audible voucher. And any audiobook you buy with that voucher is treated as a purchase, so you keep it permanently, even if you cancel your membership.

If you’ve been curious about audiobooks but baulked at adding another monthly subscription to your tally, this Prime Day Audible offer is a great incentive – especially given the hundreds of thousands of titles to choose from.
