Pregnancy cravings can start as early as five weeks after conception - and there's no guarantee what you're going to want to munch your way through.
A woman has been left feeling embarrassed after her husband caught her snacking on her 'must-have treats' as she prepares to welcome new life in to this world.
Speaking the Reddit, the woman revealed how she has been snacking on dog treats since her first trimester - and no matter how many she eats, she always wants more.
She said: "I have been keeping it from my husband because it's weird. I know cravings can be weird anyway but to me, this is just beyond that.
"I have spoken to my friends about this loosely but none of them seemed to have cravings like mine - or they won't admit it.

"I have been secretly eating dog biscuits throughout my pregnancy so far. I don't know what it is about them. I don't have a dog and I have never had a dog."
Wanting to set the record straight, the woman explained how she only eats "normal dog biscuits" and not those with beef or fish flavourings.
"Yesterday, my husband caught me snacking on some biscuits and he asked if he could have one," she added.
"I should have just let him have one but I reacted a bit too over the top and wouldn't let him have one because I didn't want him to know what they actually were.
"Obviously, my reaction only made him more curious and he ended up finding out.
"I've been taking the packets with me and disposing of them at work or in public waste bins. I thought I had all bases covered."
But since finding out her secret, whenever she asks her husband for a favour he has been responding to her like a dog.
She said: "He won't stop woofing at me. He was laughing for what felt like five hours straight last night.
"When I asked for something like 'can you get me the blanket?' he'd respond with 'Woof! Woof!' and then go get it.
"I don't know how I'll live this down. But at least I can eat them in the open now and not like a creature in the corner of the kitchen."
While most users laughed at the woman's "unusual" cravings, others questioned whether the dog biscuits even taste nice or if "it's just a texture thing".
One user said: "I probably would have given my partner one just so I wouldn't have to be the only one who'd eaten a dog biscuit.
"Not to sound judgmental, but don't they taste nasty at all? They sound vile., But cravings are weird - they should be called crazings."
Another user added: "This is too funny. That's exactly something my husband would do. I wouldn't worry about it. I imagine it will pass soon.
"That being said, I don't see that being an unreasonable craving to have. We used to get these dog cookies for our dogs. They smelled so good, just like chocolate chip cookies.
"I definitely had a time or two where I thought about trying them and that was before pregnancy."
