Considering I've recently just got engaged myself, I was very intrigued to see what an engagement ring for £1 from Asda would look like.
I tried to get my hands on the Poundland version last year, but it sold out so fast that I didn't even get a look in. Which is why as soon as I saw that Asda were selling its own version, I knew I had to get to my local store ASAP.
With Valentine's Day two weeks from today, many shoppers are no doubt already purchasing an array of extravagant gifts for that special person in their lives. This really does beg the question - would a £1 engagement ring make the cut?
