'I tried Aldi's version of McDonald's to see how it would compare - and now fast-food will never be the same'

Shoppers have been raving for some time now about Aldi's take on some classic items from McDonald's - including the iconic Big Mac.

Aldi has launched its very own versions of the fast-food's famous hash browns, Big Mac and Chicken McNuggets. The packaging is almost identical to McDonald's so from appearance alone, you'd be pushed to know that you weren't eating a meal from there.

But despite its similar appearance can the discount supermarket really live up to McDonald's? LancsLive reporter, Rebecca Lockwood, tried Aldi's version of some of McDonald's most-loved menu items - and compared them to the fast-food chain's originals.
