I tried Aldi's SpecialBuy £29 'mini vacuum cleaner' and it had some serious power

I'm all for a nifty gadget from Aldi, especially when it's a SpecialBuy, which is why I was keen to try this new £29.99 mini vacuum cleaner.

Described as an 'easy home mini vacuum cleaner' the product comes equipped with a detachable battery powder pack with rechargeable batteries. It has different suction power levels, a bagless filter system and is foldable in five different ways.

After using some of Aldi's cleaning products in the past, I was really intrigued to see just how good this mini vacuum cleaner really was. Aldi shoppers have described the product as being 'good value for money' and a great tool for cleaning your car and carpet edges.

One of the household chores that I absolutely hate is hoovering my stairs, purely because I can never catch all the pesky bits on the edge and corners. I was hoping this mini vacuum cleaner would get into all the annoying nooks and crannies often missed during my weekly tidy up, and I was correct.

This little thing has some serious power. Considering I hadn't even charged it before use, I was amazed at how well it got up the dog hair annoyingly embedded into my carpet just with one full swoop.

Of course, some of the bits on my stairs were a little more difficult to suck up than others, but as a whole, the gadget amazed me for the price. Considering I have an almost £200 Vax hoover that only works when I put it on full power mode (which drains the battery in five minutes) for the price, this vacuum is outstanding.

For those who need a quick and easy piece of kit to get the job done in seconds, Aldi provides the perfect solution. With a capacity of 450ml, a voltage of 18V and a wattage of 110W, the power of the vacuum surprised me.

The most impressive thing to me was the LED lights on the vacuum. It was a great feature to help me identify the mess I needed to hoover, as well as a worrying reminder that my house has a lot of hidden dog hairs.

As a whole, aesthetically the hoover looks great, and a lot more than £29.99. I don't have a bad thing to say about the product, and will continue to use it on all those areas my Vax can't quite get to.
