It seems like there's a hack for everything these days and with temperatures dropping to below zero this week, it's no surprise that there's been a flurry of new Tiktoks for coping with the freezing weather. Scrolling through my feed last night, I spotted one for clearing a frozen windscreen in record time.
The video showed a person filling a plastic sandwich bag with warm water, wiping it across their windscreen and voilà, the ice melted.
I won't lie, initially I was dubious. You often see videos online and question whether they're legit, but, knowing it was minus something outside I had an early drive to the office I thought there was no harm in giving it a try.
