I tried a £10 Revolution mascara that made my lashes 'look false'

It can be super difficult to find a mascara that gives your lashes length and volume without looking clumpy.

There really is nothing worse than purchasing a mascara and finding that it does virtually nothing to your lashes. I've gone through a fair few different mascaras in my time, but affordable makeup brand Revolution has certainly peaked my interest with their new '5D Whip Lift Mascara'.

The £9.99 product is said to feature an 'expertly designed brush' with a twisted vortex shape that aims to grab every lash from the root. It includes an 'ultra black ink' formula for 'long-lasting results', which hopefully means no smudging too.
