The nation has been in mourning since September 8, when it was announced Queen Elizabeth II died. On Monday millions of people all over the world tuned in to watch Her Majesty's funeral on TV, but thousands travelled to London to watch the historic occasion in person.
The capital's streets and large parks were lined with mourners, many of which had camped overnight to watch the funeral. Hull Live reporter Emily Johnson made a 190-mile journey to London for the funeral, here's her account.
For scores of people in Hull, watching Her Majesty's funeral on television was simply not enough, so they set their alarms for 2am to board an Acklam's coach at 3am.
