A new bride found herself dealing with a huge amount of family drama in the lead up to her wedding after her mother showed her a photo of the "floor-length ivory, lacy dress" she'd wanted to buy for the big day.
According to this exasperated newlywed, her mum had repeatedly tried to make her wedding all about herself. She ended up losing count of the number of times she would declare, "well, I am the mother of the bride!", or complain about the mother-of-the bride not having a role in the ceremony.
The fed-up daughter eventually had to draw the line after her mum showed her a pic of the outfit she intended to wear on the big day - a dress that looked more or less exactly like a wedding gown.
