Not every thriller needs to keep you on the edge of your seat for two straight hours to be effective. If you're in the mood for a stylish, slow-burn adventure, "The Two Faces of January" is well worth seeking out, and right now, you can stream it for free on Tubi. But not for long!
This criminally overlooked 2014 film comes from a novel by Patricia Highsmith, the mastermind behind "The Talented Mr. Ripley" and "Strangers on a Train." It also marks the directorial debut of Hossein Amini, best known for writing the sharp screenplay for "Drive." Amini spent roughly 15 years trying to get this passion project made, and the result proves it was well worth the wait.
