'I shopped Primark's new soft retro collection - here are my five highlights'

There is rarely anything more satisfying than heading to Primark and coming out with a brand new haul for your wardrobe.

And Primark shoppers looking for fresh Summer clothing are in for a treat, as the fast-fashion giant has just launched a cute soft retro collection in-stores that will brighten your outfits for this season.

The high-street retailer has been letting shoppers ride the nostalgia wave recently, as they have launched collections inspired by previous fashionable decades.

From the bold 90s to the vibrant early 00s, the retailer regularly launches retro themed clothing collections that mimic the current fashion trends for less.

This time the retailer looks to have revisited the early 60s and 70s with a brand new collection that is giving off muted hippie vibes.

And, because I never need an excuse to head to Primark and look at new clothes, I decided to head to my local store based on Aberdeen's Union Street to check out the new collection.

From bold floral patterns to muted candy shades, fashion enthusiasts can revisit the stylish era for as little as £2 a piece.

With the retro trend still going strong and florals being the 'in-thing' for spring/summer, I understand why the collection might prove to be a huge hit with shoppers.

Which is exactly why I took the time to to have a little rummage in-store to find my top five picks that just gave me 'summer flower power realness vibes.'
