Forget the string lights, the long-wired pendants, and even the wall-mounted sconces. Your outdoor space doesn't need a complex and difficult-to-install lighting scheme to add some ambience after dark. Instead, what it needs is IKEA's Solvinden Pendant Lamp.
Cordless, portable, and unbelievably lightweight, this pendant lamp is like a chic little lantern that's been designed for both ambience and utility. Unlike traditional portable lamp styles that feature bases and wide shades, this model looks more like a ball of light that can sit on a surface or hang from a hook.
