Max Branning is to return to EastEnders (BBC/PA) -

Actor Jake Wood is heading back to EastEnders as Max Branning, describing his return as “coming home”.

The 52-year-old left the BBC soap in 2021 when his character’s affair with Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) ended, after she revealed her true feelings for her husband Mick (Danny Dyer).
