I'm a Celebrity viewers slam 'boring and easy' trials

I'm a Celebrity viewers are becoming increasingly unhappy with the standard of bushtucker trials.

Lioness Jill Scott braved the "Critty Critty Fang Fang" trial that saw her elevated above the jungle searching for stars in a bug-infested car. The musical-themed challenge tested her fear of heights and tolerance for pain as green ants proved bothersome throughout.

Ejected from the bottom of the car and held with only a bungee rope in the air, Jill only let out a small scream as she fell through the air. Her bravery was rewarded with an extra large star to take back to the camp.

Despite the nerve-wracking ordeal, I'm a Celebrity viewers agreed that this year's tasks "don't feel like trials." None of this year's campmates have had a necessarily difficult time in the jungle compared to previous stars such as Gillian McKeith or Kim Woodburn.

One fan said: "No coz why are these trials boring and easy cba." Another added: "Is it just me or do the trials not feel like trials this year?"

Whilst another said: "Trials as too easy. Not much fun watching." A final added: "Is it me or are the trials a lot easier this year."

The show received similar backlash not long ago after the campmates took part in a Who Wants To Be a Millionaire quiz trial. The challenge saw the cast answer general trivia questions whilst liquid was poured on this, issuing another criticism that the trials had become too mundane.
