Viewers of I'm A Celebrity 2022 called out the contestants on Sunday night, as they made a "big mistake" minutes into the new series.
As the show got underway, the first contestants were introduced to viewers and each other - before hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly made their own arrival.
Charlene White, Chris Moyles, Jill Scott MBE, Babatúndé Aléshé and Olivia Attwood were the first ones to make their arrival, and as each of them did so fans saw a pre-recorded VT.
In the videos, each contestant explained why they were doing the show and went into detail about their biggest fears.
But as Babatúndé confessed he was scared of "everything" including rats, spiders, snakes and frogs, and Charlene shared her fear of spiders, viewers had a complaint.
Fans called out all of the stars for revealing their phobias on camera, knowing full well it would likely mean they would be voted by them for the trials.
Taking to Twitter, one fan said: "People still telling everyone what they’re scared of, never learn."
Another said: "Do the celebs never learn, don’t tell us what ur afraid of !!!!"
A third viewer tweeted: "The public making a note of everything the celebs are scared of," as a fourth said: "Why do the contestants list everything they’re scared of and make it easier to freak them out??"
It comes amid backlash over the signing of former Health Secretary Matt Hanock, who will join the series later on.
Amid backlash over the signing of Hancock, and his decision to take part, it's been reported he will earn £400,000 for the stint.
Good Morning Britain presenter and former I’m A Celebrity star Richard Madeley recently discussed Mr Hancock's decision to do the series, and whilst he stopped short at defending the Tory politician, he insisted it could actually be good for the MP.
Mr Hancock said his decision to go on the jungle show is to relate to viewers more and share important messages with all kinds of voters, whether they're engaged in politics or not.
Speaking on BBC's Have I Got News For You tonight, Richard said: "I suspect his reason simply is if he does it well, and with humour, he'll turn them round but I agree, they're [the British public] are not going to forget.
“If he actually attacks the challenges, agrees to do it and eats the scorpions and testicles, he'll get Brownie points from some of the viewers.”
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2022 continues Monday at 9pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
