I'm A Celebrity's Sue Cleaver dropped three stone and four dress sizes by ditching three foods

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here star Sue Cleaver dropped an incredible three stone and four dress sizes after she ditched just three foods from her diet.

The Coronation Street actress, who plays Eileen Grimshaw in the British soap opera, turned to the tried and tested Mediterranean diet after she collapsed on the set of the ITV programme back in 2011.

Since then, she has dropped from a size 16 to a size 12 thanks to her new regime, which cut out all foods with a high sugar content.

Sue is a self-professed big foodie, but she still managed to create delicious meals focussing primarily on vegetables, fruits, legumes, nuts, beans, cereals, grains, fish and unsaturated fats such as olive oil, reports RSVP Live.

The 59-year-old suffers from diabetes, so she also has a low intake of meat and dairy foods.

A source close to Sue told Woman Magazine before: "She hasn't been this size since she was in her 30s.

"She's always been a self-confessed foodie who admitted that over-indulgence was her Achilles Heel. Now, everything has changed."

The insider added: "She's in this for the long game and wants to live a long, happy and healthy life."

"Sue just wants to make sure people lose weight in a good and healthy fashion and thought it was a great idea to help share her journey."

"Losing weight and keeping it off was not only important for Sue, but also the men in her life - her partner and son, Elliot."

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! and Coronation Street favourite also changed her eating habits because of her health issues and also to make sure she is there for her husband and son.

"Sue has dramatically reduced her sugar intake- now everything that goes on her plate is low GI and gluten free," another source told the publication.
