Owen Warner pulled off an unexpected 'comeback' on I'm A Celebrity, to finish ahead of Matt Hancock, after he went into the final as third favourite. And the fact it was Owen and Jill in the final two and not Matt was celebrated by many fans of the show.
Hollyoaks actor Owen was in the middle of the pack when it came to winning odds at the start of the new series but, just days ago, had eclipsed Jill Scott to be favourite in the eyes of some bookmakers. However, after Owen was told he 'might be' going home on Friday, as Seann Walsh was eliminated, the soap star's odds of victory dropped significantly, to see him fell to 10/1, as Hancock's odds of a jungle win were cut to 5/1.
With the former Health Secretary already pulling off a shock scalp by beating well fancied Mike Tindall to a place in the final, many bookies thought he'd be a shoe-in to finish second, with a Hancock victory not even being ruled out. But, in the end, it was Owen who finish runner up to eventual I'm A Celebrity winner Jill.

The 23-year-old admitted he was surprised he'd made the final, before being seen in the early part of the episode taking on one final Bushtucker Trial as he had to chow down on three courses of some very grim dishes in order to win three slap up main courses for him and his remaining campmates.
Ahead of hosts Ant and Dec revealing the I'm A Celebrity result, several of the evicted stars appeared on screen to speak highly of Owen, with Sue Cleaver saying she'd seen him "grow into a man," and Charlene White tipping him to go onto great things.
There were plenty of fans who thought Owen should have won, with one reacting to the final result by tweeting: "Omg Owen should have won, not happy at all! It was obvious she would win" a second posting: "I’m sorry but I feel like Owen should have won - he’s way more entertaining and funnier."
