I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star Chris Moyles is set to show a different side when he enters the jungle.
The 48-year-old revealed he is not the megamouth DJ the public think he is in real life.
In fact, this is the biggest misconception the Radio X presenter is keen to dispel when the show starts on Sunday November 6.
He said: “Contrary to popular belief, I won’t be the loudest person in the camp.
“My radio show is a very turned up version of me and people will get to see a much quieter Chris Moyles!”

Chris continued: “If people are expecting what they hear on the radio, then they had better prepare themselves for a much quieter, sensitive Christopher Moyles.”
He might be planning to show off his quieter side, but Chris is still billing himself as this year’s joker.
“Hopefully if I can bring some humour to the camp, then it will make everyone in the camp feel at ease and help shorten everyone’s boredom,” he said.
The radio star said his ‘best attribute’ was hiding food and joked: “I’m going to fly out early and sneak into the jungle and hide pot noodles everywhere, then I will be everyone’s best friend!”
One thing Yorkshire-born Chris is dreading is not being able to have a cup of tea every day while he’s Down Under.
“I am such a Yorkshire man, so not having tea will be difficult to take,” he explained.
“I used to be a lot bigger, so I am no stranger to cutting down on food – but not having a mug of tea is going to be tricky.
“I am staying well out of the cooking too. I don’t want to poison my campmates!”
But it’s his fear of heights that worries Chris most about being in this year’s jungle.
He has never jumped out of a plane – and admits he even got scared taking his girlfriend’s daughter to Go Ape recently.
“Even that rickety rope bridge makes my heart start going... but I know I’ve got to suck it all up,” he said.
Despite being approached to go on the show for years, Chris says he doesn’t know why he accepted the offer in 2022 – and could live to regret it.
He said: “Some people say if something scares you, then do it. But I am a firm believer you shouldn’t scare yourself! I am a big fan of my own comfort zone, too.
“In the past, I always said no to offers to take part. But this year, I didn’t say no immediately and ended up going to a meeting.
“Now I don’t know why I said yes. But I’m a huge fan of the show and I know what I’m letting myself in for! My friends who have done it before have told me I will have a great time.”
