Chris Moyles has confessed to knowing Boy George well before they both went onto I'm A Celebrity this year, after the link between them was 'exposed' by viewers.
Having both being two of the four VIPs on the first day of filming for the new series of the ITV show, music legend George and former Radio 1 breakfast host Chris were forced to spend a night on a deserted beach, alongside Olivia Attwood and Scarlette Douglas, before the quarter went into the jungle a day late.
While it wasn't immediately obvious that Chris and George were close, it became clear that they had an existing relationship when George pulled his co-star aside for a chat on their first night to complain about Charlene White being 'bossy' with the cooking, to which Chris quipped, out of ear shot in the Bush Telegraph, that the Culture Club icon 'didn't respond well to authority.'

That gave a strong hint that the two knew each other well in the outside world and that's because they do, as Boy George is managed by Chris' other half Tiffany Austin. And, it was during a 'farewell' speech he gave to his co-stars, after they found out the first vote-off was looming, that Chris refenced the fact he and George knew each other before I'm A Celebrity.
Keeping it brief, Chris told his fellow campmates: "I didn't know an of you, apart from George, two weeks ago and now I think we're one big happy, dysfunctional family."
Boy George talked about how Chris and other Tiffany once came to his rescue, in a radio interview he gave with Chris. During the chat, George recalled: "I came home one night and the alarm was off, so I was freaking out. Chris and Tiff turned up and Chris went in first. I was like, “I’m not going in there.” He went in, looked around. There was no one in there. It was fine. I would’ve stayed outside all night!"
Chris, whilst staying quiet on their link on I'm A Celebrity, has also spoken about his relationship with Boy George, explaining: "My girlfriend works with George. There was a lovely moment where we dropped shopping to his house. As I’m carrying it up his driveway to his front door I said to Tiff, “When I watched Top of the Pops years ago, never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be bringing Boy George his shopping!"
