Charlene White has become the first star to be voted off this year's series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
The ITV show's hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly revealed the news live from the camp this evening, as fans of the show got to enjoy a bumper extended episode.
She hugged her campmates and said: "I get to have a good night's sleep tonight."
Shortly before leaving in a speech to camp Charlene said: "I think this is a very, very special group. It's going to be weird as we start going down in number because it just won't be the same.
"Thank you to all of you for giving me an experience that I will never ever ever, ever forget."
After leaving camp with the fewest votes she spoke to show hosts Ant and Dec.
"It's been emotional," Charlene told the hosts. "To use the ridiculous American saying, 'It's been a journey'."
Ant and Dec then quizzed the Loose Women presenter about Matt Hancock's arrival in camp.
"My money was him or Liz Truss, so I was surprised but also not surprised," Charlene admitted when discussing the MP's stint in the jungle with the show's presenters.
"Look I may be in the jungle but journalism is still my first job. I wanted to ask questions I thought people would want me to ask. I have to remain impartial because journalism is my first job. That was hard," she went on to explain.
Charlene added: "I think everyone had their feelings about Matt when he first walked in. But we also have to live alongside him. So we all have to adapt to that. And he's made some real connections in there, which has been wonderful and so many people didn't think that would happen. So it was difficult."
She went on to admit she wasn't surprised Mr Hancock asked her to be his deputy when he was elected camp leader earlier this week.
Charlene also addressed her decision not to sleep in the RV alongside Mr Hancock, once again explaining her job as a journalist means she can't really share a sleeping space with a politician.
Prior to the eviction taking place this evening, viewers watched the moment the celebrities campers discovered one of them would be packing their bags and heading home.
"Celebrities, tonight is your last night together. Tomorrow one of you will be the first to leave the jungle," Mike Tindall read from a laminate to his fellow campers.
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver confessed: "I don’t think any of us expected it to be tomorrow!"
The first live eviction follows the celebrities' friends and family landing Down Under earlier this week, ready to be reunited with their loved ones as the ITV show approaches the end of this year's series.
Speaking at Brisbane Airport as she arrived in Australia, Seann Walsh's pregnant partner Grace Adderley revealed she is hoping Boy George will perform at their child's first birthday.
Asked if she was missing her comedian beau, she admitted: "I do really miss him but I want him to have the full experience I want him to be in as a long as possible just so he has those memories and yeah I am pregnant so it is strange but I have done all my scans and he was there for all of those so I am now at the point where I have no scans left anyway so it has been fine."
She went on to add: "He is a fan of Boy George and I knew that was the first gig he had ever been to with his mum and so I knew before he would absolutely love that BG was in there and he loves creative people as well so there is a lot of creatives in there so I knew he was going to get on with everybody it didn’t surprise me at all.
"We don't know what we are having but we are probably going to have a first birthday party for the baby where Boy George is performing, maybe Babatunde will come on and do a set, it will be great!"
