Boy George may have left his jungle campmates but he isn't heading home just yet. The pop icon has reportedly been 'denied' an early return home by I'm A Celebrity bosses.
There have been the usual twists and turns during this year's I'm a Celeb, with surprise contestants, some pretty revolting trials and, of course, some shock results when it came to voting off the campmates. Chronicle Live reported that there was visible shock in camp when Culture Club frontman Boy George was voted out before the half way point of eliminations - George and Chris Moyles found themselves in the bottom two. And while Boy George seemed relieved to make his exit from the show, social media reaction indicated that some viewers were surprised at the result. Even host Ant McPartlin had something to say about the elimination.
George soon returned to normal life. Posting a selfie of himself munching on some pizza, he wrote on social media: "Eating pizza and watching #FIFAWorldCup replay after a lovely long shower. Thanks for all the amazing messages. The love always transcends the negativity. This b*tch still gives great headline. I have seen them all and laughed heartily!" However, he has skipped his exit interview and claims indicated that he has asked to jump on a flight straight back to England. That request has been turned down by producers, according to reports.

Contestants usually make a return for the final show when the king or queen of the jungle is crowned. Sources close to Boy George told Mail Online: "He wanted to go home immediately, he doesn't want to hang around. If he had his way he would be on a plane already but he wasn't allowed to do that."
The insider continued: "His aim of going into the jungle was for the world to see the stripped back version of him, no hair, makeup, costumes, or hats – he didn't actually care how far he went in the competition."
The source claims that Boy George isn't 'bothered' about seeing any of his co-stars, which added to his frustrations at being made to stay Down Under. They added: "The fact he has to stay in Australia for days now is an annoyance to him, he isn't fussed about sticking around for the final but that's what he has to do."
Babatunde Aleshe is the star to say goodbye to their campmates. He follows Scarlette Douglas, Sue Cleaver, and of course, Boy George.
I'm A Celebrity Get... Me Out Of Here airs on ITV at 9pm.
