I'm A Celebrity's Boy George and Matt Hancock tension continues as viewers slam singer

Once again I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! aired on our screens as the celebrities were up against more challenges.

But whilst others faced challenges involving some pretty scary animals, it was clear one celebrity wasn't up to doing much and made his feelings quite clear.

And now Boy George has been slammed by viewers for talking about Matt Hancock and laughing at him being injured.

It comes as the former health secretary was reeling in pain after being attacked by the creature in the Australian jungle on Sunday night's episode (November 13).

Matt swore as at first he thought he had a splinter but the cameras quickly zoomed into the small scorpion as he yelled "Oh f*** it's like I've just been bitten by something. Wow, look at that, a scorpion. I've been stung by a scorpion. It hurts a lot and I'm feeling slightly dizzy."

Later, sitting down in front of the cameras, the Culture Club singer said: "It was like, of all the people that could get stung by a scorpion. I mean, I'm not laughing. I'm sure it was horrible but" as he laughed.

Viewers noticed the tension building after his arrival, as several campmates made it clear they were not happy about the disgraced Tory MP taking part with Chris Moyles adding he should "be at work".

Boy George has said he can't hide his feelings. (ITV I'm A Celebrity.)

It comes as George declared the MP wouldn't have "any power" over him after he was crowned camp leader during Sunday's episode as he admitted: "If I don’t want to do something, I won’t do it."

Taking to social media, many defended the politician and said that the singer could have been more sympathetic as people asked him to stop going on about his dislike towards the Tory MP.

One said: "Think Boy George's reaction to this was just completely wrong. He clearly doesn't like Matt and that's fine, but he could have been more sympathetic. I mean how would he have liked the if it was him that had been stung by a scorpion?"

Another tweeted: "Not the biggest fan of Matt Hancock for obvious reasons. But Boy George finding it hilarious that he got stung by a Scorpion is vile!"

"How rude is Boy George laughing at Matt getting stung by a scorpion, he could of been really hurt and its absolutely disgusting that people think it's funny!!!" wrote a third.
