I'm A Celebrity's Ant and Dec working on brand new ITV quiz show but they may not present it

Ant and Dec are set to jump over to the other side of the camera, as they are reportedly working on a new quiz show. The news comes following a busy month for the pair as they recently won their 21st consecutive National Television Award - despite not being there to collect it. You can read more about that here.

Now, it has been reported that the Geordies are working on a programme which involves putting a batch of celebrities’ minds to the test. A source shared: "Whether they’re in front of the camera or behind it, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are still viewed as a duo who have the Midas touch when it comes to making telly. Their win at the NTAs and the fact they’re off to the jungle for the 22nd series shows how popular their programmes still are.

"So their new project is likely to be much-anticipated by ITV bosses," the source told The Sun. Viewers who were keen to see Ant & Dec host the project, should not get their hopes up, as the source added: "The only disappointment will be that they aren’t working on the basis that they’ll be the presenters."

Alongside their coveted I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! role, Ant and Dec still host Britain’s Got Talent and Saturday Night Takeaway as well as the new gameshow they launched on ITV last year, Limitless Win, which is set to return with a second series.

Whilst a date hasn't officially been confirmed for the return of I'm A Celebrity, it is expected to air in early November. Aside from the normal series, an All Stars spin-off is also in the works. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
