I'm a Celebrity's 2022 line up is richest ever and these are stars' incredible wealth

This year's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here line up is reportedly the richest one yet.

The ITV show is set to return to the Australian jungle this weekend, with well-known names such as Boy George, Olivia Attwood and Mike Tindall all taking part. They will be joining Geordie hosts Ant and Dec as they take on bush tucker trials in a bid to win food for the camp.

The jungle is expected to be worlds apart from their normal luxurious lives, with some of the celebs taking part boasting bank accounts with millions in them. It’s believed that the celebrities have fortunes that, when summed up together, reach over the £70 million mark.

Here is how much the celebs are thought to be worth individually and what they do to amass their millions.

Boy George - Pop icon

Boy George is a singing sensation who soared to fame as lead singer of the pop band Culture Club. At the height of the band's fame in the 1980s, they recorded global hit songs "Karma Chameleon", "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me" and "Time (Clock of the Heart)".

It’s said that Boy George is worth over £43 million, making up over half of the overall reported figure of the celebrities’ fortunes.

Sue Cleaver - Coronation Street star

Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver has revealed she is taking part in the hit ITV series to ‘shake things up’ as she approaches her 60th birthday. The pandemic made her determined to take on some new challenges.

She joined the cast of Corrie 22 years ago when she took on the role of Eileen. It’s said that Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver has £1m in her bank account.

Owen Warner - Hollyoaks actor

Hollyoaks actor, Owen, is known for portraying the role of Romeo Nightingale in the Channel 4 soap. He won the Digital Spy Reader Award for Best Soap Newcomer in 2018. The 23-year-old is said to be worth around £500,000.

Scarlette Douglas - TV presenter and property expert

Former A Place in the Sun presenter Scarlette Douglas hopes to show people who have doubted her in the past that she can achieve success after accepting an offer to take part in this year’s show. However, her bank balance proves that she has already been successful. It is believed she possesses a fortune of around £1 million.

Mike Tindall MBE - Ex England rugby player

Former English Rugby Union player Mike Tindall will become the first member of the Royal Family to take part in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! He married into royalty when he tied the knot with Princess Anne's daughter Zara Tindall, formerly Phillips, back in 2011.

According to reports, he has a fortune of over £15 million - making him the second richest celeb in this year's line up.

Charlene White - Loose Women presenter

The Loose Women panelist fancied a new challenge as she decided to take on the jungle. She allegedly has around half a million pounds in her bank account.

Chris Moyles - Radio presenter

Chris has reportedly been approached to do the show several times over the years and he says he still doesn’t know why he said yes this time. He is absolutely petrified of heights so may find some of the tasks a greater challenge than most.

He has had a successful career after being the presenter of The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X. Before that, he presented The Chris Moyles Show on BBC Radio 1 from 2004 to 2012. Over the span of his career he has amassed a net worth of around £8 million.

Jill Scott MBE - England Lioness

After helping the Lionesses lift the Women’s Euro trophy in July, recently retired player Jill Scott says she is looking forward to being part of a very different type of team in the jungle. Jill has played professionally for Sunderland, Everton, and Manchester City. She is said to have £4 million in the bank.

Babatunde Aléshé - Comedian

Babatunde is a British actor, comedian and writer. He has performed at the Soho Theatre, the Shaw Theatre, the O2 and the Hackney Empire and is often spotted on TV as he takes part in Celebrity Gogglebox. It is unsure how much he is currently worth.

Olivia Attwood - Love Island star and TV personality

Olivia rose to fame after appearing on ITV2's Love Island. Since then she has gone on to present numerous shows and documentaries. It is thought that she is now worth around £1.2 million.

Matt Hancock - Tory politician

Matt Hancock is said to be entering the jungle as a surprise castmate. He and comedian Seann Walsh are said to be entering at a later date as "bombshell arrivals" but the news of his latest television escapade hasn't gone down well with his Conservative peers.

The West Suffolk MP was forced to quit as health secretary in June 2021 after breaking coronavirus lockdown rules by conducting an affair in his ministerial office with aide Gina Coladangelo. It is thought that his annual salary as a Tory MP is around £100,000 per year and it has been reported that he is worth around £4 million.
