I'm A Celebrity returns to Irish screens in matter of weeks as show heads back to Australia in 2022

A date for the return of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here has been revealed as the show heads back to Australia post-Covid.

Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly will return to hosting duties on the much-loved ITV show, as viewers await the winter favourite.

The pair will be joined by a team of new celebrities as they test their strength amid jungle life for a new series of the popular show.

Last year's series was won by Emmerdale actor Danny Miller, who took the win over the likes of Simon Gregson and Frankie Bridge. It was broadcasted from Gwrych Castle in north Wales - but the weather in the UK caused havoc.

As Ant and Dec prepare for a return to Australia, it has now been revealed when the show is making its hotly anticipated return.

Fans will be delighted to know it will be back on Irish screens in just a few weeks time.

The ITV show will hit the airwaves on Sunday November 6, slightly earlier than usual due to the Qatar 2022 World Cup, according to The Sun.

"The last thing anyone wants is for viewers to have to choose between the latest from the jungle and a big game. At the moment nothing has been confirmed – but whatever ITV do will be in the best interests of viewers," a source said previously of the decision.

With the show a matter of days away, rumours have been swirling about who might be heading to the jungle.

Chris Moyles is one of the famous faces set to head onto the show, The Mirror has exclusively revealed.

Back in 2012, Ant and Dec said they wanted to see him as a campmate, with Dec sharing: "He would be really funny, he’d probably win. And he’s lost so much weight, even the lack of food wouldn’t bother him."

Ant added: "The thing is eventually they all say yes. We just wear them down."

Other names being thrown into the mix include Mike Tindall, Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver as well as Loose Women star Charlene White.
