I'm A Celebrity 2022 fans think a mass exit could be on the way, after one star considered quitting the show over the arrival of Matt Hancock.
Viewers were quick to pick up on the tension as the disgraced former Health Secretary entered camp with comedian Seann Walsh on Wednesday.
Several of the cast were seen unimpressed and in shock, as others stated to their co-stars that they didn't agree with him being on the show – or his reasons for taking part.
The scenes have left many fans predicting one or more could exit the show in a sensational twist, amid backlash aimed at ITV and the series over the new arrival.
With so many campmates clearly unhappy about it, viewers predicted Hancock would have to leave the series soon if bosses were going to stop a "mass exit".
On Wednesday, Boy George confessed he was considering leaving the jungle, with one campmate doing her best to stop him.
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, he became emotional as he said: "I don't really know what to do with my feelings. You know, today was obviously quite emotional for me.
"I don't know what it's going to be like, I actually don't really know if I want to be here."
Sue Cleaver soon encouraged him to stay, while she too shared her view on the matter – clearly not keen on Mr Hancock.
She said: "Just sleep on it tonight. Look, why he came in and what he's doing here, it's not our responsibility and it's not for us to take on."
Sue later said in the Bush Telegraph: "George was having a bit of a moment. I think if I'm honest that most of us are sort of feeling it's a bit of a very strange situation to be in."
The Coronation Street actress had pulled a face and made some telling comments when Mr Hancock first entered the camp, which gave away how she was feeling.
Meanwhile, Charlene White wasted no time in grilling Mr Hancock over his reasons for doing the show - and his comments left viewers claiming he was lying.
But they weren't the only ones to say this, as Mike Tindall repeatedly called Mr Hancock's claims "b******t" when Charlene fed back to some of the group.
Charlene herself had questioned whether the MP's appearance on the show would "go down well at home", clearly not agreeing with him abandoning his government duties.
Babatúndé Aléshé was quick to confide in Jill Scott about the "tension" he was sensing in the camp, while he also told Owen Warner it was "hard to push his views aside".
Now, viewers are predicting several cast members could end up leaving the series following ITV signing up the disgraced Tory MP.
Taking to Twitter, they guessed drama and tension was on the cards for sure – but many also wondered if a mass walkout could happen.
One viewer said: "I got a funny feeling [Hancock] is gonna to have walk, before they have a mass walkout."
Another tweeted: "George is going to quit. I’m calling it now!"
A third viewer added: "I think many will walk out," as a fourth wrote: "I reckon Boy George will walk out."
Meanwhile, a fifth fan said: "This could backfire very badly on ITV and Ant & Dec. People do not want to be entertained by Matt Hancock and the celebrities do not want their reputations to be tarnished by playing games with him. I wonder how they would have handled a walkout."
I'm A Celebrity airs every night at 9pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
