With two contestants already booted out of I'm A Celebrity... South Africa, two more have been dropped in as late arrivals. Joe Swash and Dean Gaffney are joining the line up and they do not have an easy start as they face "one of the most disgusting" trials ever, before they enter the camp.
Named Flipping Disgusting, the duo meet with Ant and Dec, in scenes set to air on Tuesday, May 2, to find out they will be drinking some gruesome concoctions in a bid to win some treats for the individual campmates, who are unaware of Joe and Dean's arrival in South Africa. Joe admits: "I’m really nervous. I feel like I’m doing this for the first time again, which ain’t good.”
Dean says of returning: “I’m probably more scared now than I was then!” Speaking before going into camp Joe said that eating trials were his worst. He said: “I have done so many trials but they don’t get any easier. I find them hard and I especially hate the eating trials. I do think I am going to struggle. I am a bit of a gagger and screamer!”

Elsewhere in the show Carol Vorderman is facing a different trial, Tanks of Torment. Carol has to swim through tanks of frogs, crocodiles and snakes, and she chooses fellow campmate Fatima Whitbread to help her with the trial. Describing the trial, Ant tells the pair: "This is Tanks of Torment. Carol, it’s your job to swim through the four sections of the tank, collecting stars as you go."
Dec adds: "You will only be able to move through the sections once Fatima has raised the doors that separate them." Admitting there could be a problem, Carol joked: “My bottom always floats to the top… it’s the most buoyant thing in Britain. So getting down underwater is my biggest problem.” You can keep up to date with the latest TV and showbiz news by signing up to the newsletter here.
