I'm A Celebrity first look as Boy George and Mike Tindall arrive to meet Ant and Dec

I'm A Celebrity's latest stars Boy George and Mike Tindall were seen heading to meet hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly today.

The ITV show kicks off in just a matter of days, as the 10 contestants head into the jungle for the first time. Filming is now underway for the opening sequences, and Boy George was seen wearing a rather striking suit as he headed on a boat to meet the presenting duo.

The show has made its return to Australia for the first time in three years, after two series in Wales owing to the coronavirus pandemic. And it looks like the celebrities are embracing paradise - whilst they still can.

In first look pictures, Boy George was seen strolling towards the dock as he headed for a boat, whilst former rugby player and the first ever member of the Royal Family to star on the show, Mike Tindall, was also seen climbing on board.

Ant and Dec were also seen speeding through the waters of the sunny Gold Coast, whilst Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner and A Place in the Sun's Scarlette Douglas also relaxed in their boats in the waters of Surfers Paradise.

The celebrities looked super glam in their everyday outfits - but soon they'll be swapping their glam looks for their camp uniforms.

Hosts Ant and Dec looked cool and casual in their shirts as they donned sunglasses for their boat trip. Elsewhere, three of the other campmates - Babatunde Aleshe, Charlene White and Jill Scott have all been seen heading for a helicopter.

It comes after Scarlette revealed her secret connection with the show's hosts.

"Randomly I was a backing dancer on the Saturday Night Takeaway arena tour, and I remember a couple of nights before the final night I had asked if I could interview them. And they were so kind they said yeah, absolutely," Scarlette revealed of her encounter with the pair, "I had a presenting agent at the time, just from presenting competitions.

"But me actually getting to interview Ant and Dec was amazing, because the guys are brilliant. They were really complimentary of my presenting skills, so to speak, back then - although I didn't have any."

She added of their encouraging words: "But you know, they said if it’s something you want to do, you really should focus on it because clearly you've got a knack for it. And it's something that we can help with, we can help in any way, we'd love to."
