This is Big Brother...will Roman Kemp come to the diary room please?
This is what the Capital FM DJ would love to hear when the reality TV show returns next year. In fact, he wants to host the whole show.
I can reveal his name is in the frame and he has the backing of original presenter Davina McCall.
Roman, 29, who was third in 2019’s I’m A Celeb, said: “I’d love to present Big Brother.
“There have been talks. I’ve always been a huge fan so I’d do my best to do it justice.”
ITV insiders reckon Roman, who has also been on Celebrity Gogglebox with Spandau Ballet legend Martin, is a favourite for the job.
But he faces competition, including from his former Capital Radio co-host Vick Hope, 33, and The Inbetweeners star Emily Atack, 32.
Roman, who was promoting his new book, Are You Really OK?, told me: “Davina and I were talking about it the other day. She said I should do it.” The rebooted show will be on ITV2 next autumn.
Another former host Emma Willis, 46, is championing ex-Celeb Big Bro winner Rylan Clark, 34, who hosted spin-off show Big Brother’s Bit on the Side.
Ex-contestant and This Morning presenter Alison Hammond, 47, would also like the job. One star out of the running is Joel Dommett, he is already at the helm of three shows.
