I'm A Celebrity fans say 'you're taking the mick' as they spot fresh issue with South Africa series

I'm A Celebrity... South Africa viewers have been left fuming and saying 'you're taking the mick' as they spotted a fresh issue with the all-new spin-off series. Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly returned to screens earlier this week with their hit ITV reality show - but with a twist.

Instead of the usual I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here format, a bunch of previously seen campmates have been whisked off to the new setting of Kruger National Park but with no public vote, they will be competing against each other in a battle to become the first ever 'I'm A Celebrity Legend'.

Those who have headed for the new location on the southernmost tip of the African continent is boxing champion Amir Khan; Diversity dancer and DJ Jordan Banjo; TV presenter Carol Vorderman; Olympic athlete Fatima Whitbread; Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan; former royal butler Paul Burrell; ex-England cricketer Phil Tufnell; supermodel Janice Dickinson and music legend Shaun Ryder.

They have since been joined by TV personality Gillian McKeith, former Made In Chelsea Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo, Coronation Street star Andy Whyment and singer-turned-presenter Myleene Klass as they compete to be crowned the ultimate I'm A Celeb campmate.

But fans of the ITV show have spotted a fresh issue with the series - the adverts. @RyanTheSoapking complained: "There are way too many adverts. #ImACeleb." @Jamiema74298207 fumed: "Your taking the p**s with the adverts #ImACeleb." @jodiepell_x moaned: "Whyyyyy the adverts #ImACeleb." Jamie posted: "You're taking the mick with the adverts

@JustSomeGirl44 shared: "So grateful I recorded #ImACeleb so I don't have to suffer all the adverts." @emmabraybrook wrote: "God damn adverts!! #ImACeleb." While @1rCam mentioned: "This feels so wrong without Christmas adverts #ImACeleb." And @magslunn added: "Watching #ImACeleb and waiting on Christmas adverts!"

It comes after viewers weren't sure if they could get used to the fact that the series is pre-recorded. Ant, Dec and the returning campmates jetted off the South Africa back in September.

@_HerrDavid_tweeted: "Is it just me that is a bit 'meh' as it isnt "live"? and @DOneDTwo8 agreed: "It’s a meh, from me." And @CtTweets08 said: "Shame it's not live but it'll be entertaining. I hope..."

Other viewers said it felt 'weird' to be watching in April instead of the usual November in the run up to Christmas. @RSVPMagazine said: "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here in April, this feels weird. Why do we have a sudden feeling we should be Christmas shopping. "

@eds_afterglow remarked: "It’s so weird how we’ve had love island and I’m a celeb before the summer." And @BeckieTWx asked: "Anyone else thrown out! Where’s the Christmas tree?" @TeamAntDec added: "It’s weird watching @imacelebrity this time of year @antanddec #imacelebrity."
