Fans were left baffled by the bottom two in Sunday's I'm a Celebrity as a second star was voted out of the jungle. After Charlene White was the first celebrity to be evicted from I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, Scarlette Douglas was announced as the second, much to the disappointment of fans - with Babatunde surviving for another day.
The star became emotional after hearing the news as Scarlette said goodbye to her fellow campmates. Highlights of her journey included tricking Mike Tindall into getting a imaginary spider from the shower three times, teaching the fellow campmates to dance and taking on a trial Down Under. Scarlette also often took on the role of camp chef, cooking up some interesting meals for camp and sometimes clashing with Charlene over how to cook the food.
Scarlette said she was "gutted" to be leaving the show as she was still emotional when chatting to hosts Ant and Dec. She said: "I'm absolutely gutted...I'm not ready to go yet, I want to stay for as long as possible because those people are amazing and the jungle is incredible." She also said that her and Babatunde Aleshe have a "brotherly sisterly bond" so she is rooting for him to win the show.
And it seems she's not the only one left gutted by the bottom two line up. Reacting on Twitter, one fan raged: "Babatunde and Scarlette????? WHAT?? #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity", while another said: "NO NOT SCARLETTE No words. She’s been amazing since she walked in the jungle. What a JOKE! #imaceleb "
And a third said: "Babatunde bottom two? Surely not thought he was a clear finalist #ImACeleb ". And one viewer agreed, adding: "how was Scarlette and Babatunde in the bottom two. neither of them deserved to leave yet."
