I'm A Celebrity crew members have already devised a Matt Hancock-themed sweepstake - just hours after the disgraced politician entered the jungle.
Backstage staff have reportedly been betting on matters such as who the 44-year-old former Health Secretary is likely to clash with first, how many Bushtucker Trials he will have to endure due to the public vote and when he will first cry.
And in 'Hancock bingo' fun, the crew are said to be also eagerly awaiting first mentions of the Downing Street 'partygate' scandal, and the MP's own cheating shame, which ultimately lead to him leaving the government's cabinet office.
Mr Hancock's private life was the subject of intense scrutiny and front page news last year after he was exposed as cheating on wife Martha Hoyer Millar with his aide Gina Coladangelo - breaking Covid regulations set by himself in the process.
A camp source told the Sun: "Over the years the crew on I’m A Celeb have seen it all, but it’s fair to say there’s not been a buzz about one of the campmates quite like that around Hancock.
"The sweepstake is about things like who he will row with, how many trials he will have to do, if he cries but then also how long it will take for another of the campmates to tackle the elephant in the room and mention all the Tory party f*** ups."
The source continued: "The money’s on Boy George to destroy him, Charlene to grill him like she’s Piers Morgan and then Chris Moyles and Mike to make him the butt of all the jokes."
Hancock was left "nervous", meanwhile, as he made his arrival on the show - only to learn on Wednesday that he already had been picked for his second trial.
It followed as disgraced Hancock took on a gruesome task with comedian Seann Walsh, before being introduced to his campmates.
Hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly were loving every moment, as Hancock dived into a dark tunnel, before being covered in bugs and drenched in slime in his first trial.
The Beastly Burrows saw both of the contestants entering a dark tunnel, with them having to crawl around to look for stars.
Immediately, worms and other bugs rained down on them and as Hancock travelled through the narrow spaces, he was met with gunge - while the hosts smirked as they watched the trial take place.
I'm A Celebrity airs every night at 9pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
