I'm A Celebrity... Ant and Dec's jibe at rival Strictly after Seann Walsh comment raises eyebrows

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly aimed a jibe at rival programme Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday night's show.

After opening the public vote, McPartlin said: “Right, back to camp where it is time for the question that every agent in showbiz asks their client after they have turned down I’m A Celebrity.” Seann Walsh was then seen asking Boy George: “Would you do Strictly?”

Seann also went on to discuss how difficult he found the training for the dancing show. He described it as "vigorous" - which raised eyebrows among viewers.

Traylor Holmes tweeted: "Seann Walsh: 'The training on Strictly is vigorous'. Yes, we saw hun." And Chelsey Bell tweeted: "yeah Seann we all saw how vigorous your strictly training was..."

The comedian had previously said the backlash from his Strictly kissing scandal led to "the weirdest moment of his life". He found himself at the centre of a backlash when he was photographed kissing Katya Jones while she was married to Neil Jones and he was in a relationship with now ex-girlfriend Rebecca Humphries.

Talking to fellow campmate Sue Cleaver, Seann confessed: "'Me and my dance partner, who was married, I was in a relationship, we were photographed kissing when we were on Strictly Come Dancing… that was the front page of every newspaper.

Sue asked: 'Why did that crucify you? Why did that have such an impact?'

Seann a further confessed: "To be totally honest with you, my poor ex, my girlfriend at the time, posted a statement. My girlfriend [at the time] posted a statement and that was the end of me."

"I said sorry. I sat on Jonathan Ross’s TV show and apologised. I sat next to will.i.am and Samuel L. Jackson and apologised. That will forever be the weirdest moment of my life and I have to say probably the worst moment of my life."
