Here's everything we know about I'm A Celebrity 2022.
I'm A Celebrity 2022 location
I'm A Celeb is returning to Australia this autumn. ITV officially confirmed the location of the 2022 series earlier this year after a two-year stint in Wales.
The 2021 and 2020 series of I'm A Celebrity saw the show set up camp in Gwrych Castle. The 200-year-old country venue is based in the seaside town of Abergele in the county of Conwy.
The long-standing show's stint at the castle was due to the coronavirus pandemic, with I'm A Celeb bosses citing "continued uncertainty" around Covid-19 and international travel as the reason. But this year the show will be heading back to the jungle.
ITV said: "Returning to its home in Australia after a two-year break, our celebrities will leave their plush pads and luxuries far behind as they spend up to three weeks taking on the Australian jungle with a whole host of surprises created just for them.
"Whoever does end up in the legendary jungle camp will find themselves cut off from the outside world and their fate will be in the hands of viewers who could decide to send them into a dreaded Bushtucker Trial.
"Our BAFTA award-winning hosts Ant & Dec are back to present all the big stories live every night. Who will be crowned this year’s King or Queen of the Jungle? Find out this Autumn on ITV."
I'm A Celebrity 2022 trailer
ITV dropped the first teaser trailer for I'm A Celebrity earlier this month. The clip aired on Friday, October 7 during Emmerdale, getting fans excited for the upcoming series.
The teaser saw a helicopter flying across the cloudy skies above Australia, as Dec shouted: "Where's the luggage going?" Ant then replied: "It's meeting us there!" as a bag dropped out of the helicopter and the clouds cleared to show a glimpse of the Australian jungle below. The familiar theme tune then kicked in before the short clip ended.
I'm A Celebrity rumoured line-up
While the contestants are never confirmed until closer to the time, speculation over the I'm A Celebrity line-up always starts early. So far rumours have included Royal family member and former rugby professional Mike Tindall, EastEnders star Danny Dyer, Olympic diver Tom Daley, Great British Bake Off winner and baker Nadiya Hussain, The Apprentice star Thomas Skinner and former Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse.
