I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! has been hit with accusations of sexism after three women have been voted out of camp first.
On Monday night Sue Cleaver became the latest to leave I'm A Celebrity, leaving Lioness Jill Scott in the jungle with seven male contestants and hosts Ant & Dec, five days before the final.
Corrie actress Sue follows Scarlette Douglas and Charlene White as the third campmate to be given their marching orders by viewers.
Love Island star Olivia Attwood was forced to quit the show after just 24 hours following routine medical tests.
Following Sue's shock eviction on Monday night, viewers began commenting about the imbalance in the camp with viewers yet to vote off any of the male camp-mates.
"Seriously – SEVEN blokes still in there, and ONE woman – that’s just crazy," one viewer observed on Twitter.
A second echoed: "Just can’t believe there’s SEVEN men and only one woman left… I’m sick of the gender imbalance every year. SORT IT OUT.”
A third Tweeted: “Poor Jill the only woman left… let’s hope she wins this," while journalist Allison Pearson fumed: "Sue voted out of #ImACeleb leaving just 1 woman and 7 men."
"Why do all the immensely capable women get the boot? Are they not worthy winners? Depressing," said another.
It comes after a racism row as many viewers noted that two of the three black camp mates were voted out first.
Loose Women star and ITV newsreader Charlene was the first celeb to be voted out followed by A Place in the Sun's Scarlette 48 hours later.
On Sunday night, a 'gutted' Charlene found herself in the bottom two with her close pal Babatunde Aleshe.
This is the second year that the British public has faced backlash over apparent racism.
Last year, when the show was held in Wales, Naughty Boy, Kadeena Cox and Snoochie Shy were all evicted early doors in the series, leaving an all-white camp line up.
Following Scarlette's departure, one viewer wrote: "Notice how not one single black person has ever won I'm A Celeb."
Asked directly about the race row comments and why she thinks they have gone first, Scarlette told the Mirror: "All I can do in the jungle is just be me. And I think when Charlene went obviously we were all so shocked because she was a big personality of the jungle.
"And then I can't remember who it was, I think it was Boy George, he said people aren't voting for who they want to leave, they're voting for their favourite.
"So I've always come in here as an underdog. I've got the least profile of anybody else, you know, not everybody knows who I am. Hopefully they do now!
"So I was never going to get the most amount of votes. You know, even if you're just looking at something like Instagram, I always have the least amount of followers.
If I go by something like that. I'm not going to get all the votes. So for me all I could have done in the jungle was do my best and hope people like and hope that people voted for me.
"But people aren't voting for me to leave. They're voting for who their favourites are, and if I'm not their favourite there's nothing I can do about that. I just have to be true to me. Be authentic and just enjoy the experience and when my time comes, my time comes wherever it is. You know I'm the second out, would have been great a lot further but that didn't happen.
"So I can't take it as a negative, I have to take it as a positive, I've had an amazing experience. I've met some incredible people and take from that what you will."
